Hi darlings (and gents!). I want to thank all of you that stop by my blog and peruse it. I know I haven’t been posting much but I do keep up with the number of visitors I get and would love to get to know all of you! Feel free to drop a line at any time :)
This post is a quick recap of my month of June! It was a magical month indeed, so many wonderful and exciting adventures happened.
- Mash & Lauter
I’ve been in Raleigh since January but haven’t really explored much of downtown. So, I truly appreciate when I get a chance to check out Raleigh’s treasures. In this case, I had a very enjoyable aesthetic and aromatically pleasing experience at Mash & Lauter. It’s a rooftop bar in conjunction with Busy Bee cafe and is truly the most precious place! Please check it out :) - My bubble tea dream come true! I found a place to fulfill my bubble tea cravings!! Quickly in Morrisville is what your bubble tea dreams are MADE OF. Located at 4141 Davis Drive. Morrisville, NC 27560. There aren’t many bubble tea places in the triangle that satisfy my cravings but this one hits the spot.
- I golfed, and sucked. Got my first golf shirt and competed in my first golf tournament this month. It was quite an … experience. If asked to do it again, I wouldn’t reject the offer. I definitely need some practice before another tournament like this happens ever again!
- Dreamy mountain engagement shoot
I partnered up with Liz at @trekandbloom and a bunch of other vendors to shoot an engagement session that was a styled shoot of an elopement. We drove over 9 hours in a single day to get to the most breathtaking scene of Black Balsam Knob. I had SUCH a blast and would highly recommend Liz as a photographer. She is incredibly talented and has an amazing heart of gold! Be on the lookout for the pictures from this shoot, coming soon!
- Off-shoulder Dress
I purchased this off-shoulder dress from Francesca’s and literally have not stopped wearing it. Just look at my instagram, you’ll see this dress featured on almost every single post.. I have no shame. I promise it’s washed. ;) - Hiking in Boone
Joe and I have been frequently visiting Boone because it’s wonderful there in the summer. Visiting the Moses Cone Memorial Park trails is one of my favorite things to do there. I’d highly recommend it if you’re in that area! Located at 667 Service Road, Blowing Rock, NC 28605. - Our 5 Year Anniversary
Joe and I celebrated five years of dating this month! It was an exciting anniversary as this time we were engaged. My love for him grows every day! - City Club Raleigh
City Club is usually members only but we were able to pull a few strings with the help of my company and I went there for lunch. I had so much fun with their cotton candy & bacon appetizer. If you ever get the chance to go there, I highly recommend it!! - Camping in the Outerbanks
I went camping by the beach for the first time and had such a blast! If you ever want to camp by the beach I’d highly recommend Rodanthe Watersports and Campground. Located at 24170 NC-12, Rodanthe, NC 27968. I was comfortable and the bathrooms were very conveniently close. If you visit the OBX you also must check out Jockey’s Ridge State Park to see the sand dunes. Located at 300 W Carolista Dr. Nags Head, NC 27959. I was in so much awe of this place, it was really beautiful!
The OBX also has multiple lighthouses that you can go see. We checked out the Bodie Lighthouse and it so darling. Located at 8210 Bodie Island Lighthouse Road Nags Head, NC 27959.
Lastly, you MUST check out Duck Donuts. Located at 710 S Croatan Hwy, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948. They’re freshly made and just absolutely amazing after a long day at the beach.
