BABES! I don’t know how I went the past 4-5 years Chapel Hill and didn’t discover this wonderful & magical get away simply 20 minutes away. I mean, look. at. this. view! You wouldn’t even guess that we were anywhere near Chapel Hill.
Occoneechee Mountain has a number of trails ranging from 2-3 miles and the best one leads to the overlook that you see in the picture above. It is just beautiful right now because all of the leaves are changing color. If you’re in the Chapel Hill area, I highly recommend you go!
