In December I will have hot chocolate at least 2-3 times a week. I’m not kidding, I go all out and buy ALL the mixes possible. I always have a stack of sugar cane stirrers & hot chocolate toppings for when I want a really cozy night in.

It is of my humble opinion that hot chocolate must be made with whole milk. I also love to have my hot chocolate super creamy so I make sure to add in a bunch of marshmallows AND some peppermint ice-cream.
There’s nothing that gets me more in the Christmas spirit than hot chocolate!
Last year I also made this absolutely perfect Christmas hot chocolate affogato. For this I actually looked up a homemade hot chocolate recipe and made the espresso whipped cream myself as well. As you can totally tell, I get very real with my hot chocolate.
