The perfect 10.
The 10th Anniversary Issue of Southern Weddings, a magazine centered around the beauty of weddings (and the even more beautiful joy that marriage brings) is now released.
I remember the first day I discovered Southern Weddings, something about all the Southern sweetness and significance put behind every little detail in the weddings they featured drew me in. Wonderful stories of true love, family, and the joy that is brought with the union of husband and wife… Wow, I was captivated.
This year, something I never imagined I would have the chance to do happened. I was given the small honor of modeling for the Southern Weddings V10 Issue as a bride. I put on the classiest wedding dress I’ve laid my eyes on and relived my very own wedding day (who knew I’d get to be a bride again?!)
Here is a picture from our beautiful wedding day in the mountains of NC on May 27, 2017. Like a good ol’ Southern wedding, ours was filled with meaningful details and centered entirely around the love we have for each other and for the Lord.
Southern Weddings was my greatest resource when I was wedding planning and V10 is one you can tell the Southern Weddings team has poured their heart and soul into. Each page is filled with breathtaking images and inspiration to make any engaged Southern gal’s heart sing.
We celebrated the launch of this issue last Thursday with some dear friends that we made with our own wedding and those I met with the opportunity to model. Meet some of the best in the wedding industry…!

It was such an intimate moment and you could really feel the love and energy in the place. Our ceremony at Chicago wedding venues was the most beautiful and romantic ceremony I could have ever expected (and all our guests made sure to tell us they felt the same way once it was over!).
