I prepared for this post by spending a lot of time in the word, realigning my priorities and my goals, and refocusing my attention. There’s nothing special about this post, it’s more that I was preparing myself to get back into blogging intentionally. If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you’ve seen me posting a lot about Cultivate What Matters (their spring products launch TOMORROW!)
I have thrown myself into their Powersheets and Write the Word journals and I am fired up to live a purpose-filled, intentional life where I achieve my dreams, overcome my fears, and live focused on fulfilling the mission that God has for me. I plan to write a more in-depth post about how I have been using the Powersheets and Write the Word journals, but for now, that’s where I am.
I have another post planned for you guys where I delve into “Why I Blog” but just to give you a glimpse of what has been going on in the mind of Grace (yes, I just addressed myself in third person), everything was going exactly as it should with blogging but I was not content – I felt antsy and like I wasn’t grasping my full potential or pursuing what I had been called to do. I was (in a way) mindlessly typing out random thoughts and random pictures. I wasn’t feel too great about myself, honestly, I was surprised when I got messages from some of you guys about how much you love my blog and how it has inspired you because I didn’t feel like I was doing that for you guys.
Sheesh, I don’t want to go into full novel mode but I have really been doing some soul-searching and I want to be my best, not just for this blog but for my entire life in general. I hope to keep bringing quality content for you all.
Weekend Recap
This weekend, we got to shop at LIDL for the first time (a sister store to ALDI) and I’ve come to the conclusion that Trader Joe’s is and will always be my favorite grocery store in the world. We also spent last week not looking at our phones after 9:30 PM, waking up at 6 AM, and trying to get into a routine of working out everyday unless our evening schedule calls for something else. It hasn’t been perfect, there have definitely been days when I’ve woken up at 6:30, etc, but it’s a process and it doesn’t have to be a perfect one.
The weather finally got to a pleasant enough temperature (in the afternoons) where a dress was comfortable. This dress with the button-up detail and the amazing pattern and color has been perfect. I’ve loved wearing it to work, it’s totally appropriate with a cardigan. Have you guessed where it’s from? If you’ve been following me for a while, you should know by now! My absolute favorite PinkBlush. Their dresses get more and more darling by the day.
You’re going to be seeing a lot of dresses around here because as the weather gets warmer, the last thing I want to be wearing is pants. What are your favorite outfits to wear as the weather gets warmer?

Dresses are my go-to as well! They’re an outfit in and of itself and only require some nice jewelry to dress it up.
