Guys, how are we doing?! Restaurants have opened up in Greenville, North Carolina, but I know that there are some people who are still not comfortable going into them and that is okay! The coronavirus has been with us for a few months now and I feel like this is going to be our new normal, at least until a vaccine is created. Let’s pray that a vaccine is created, let’s pray for our country and our leaders, and let’s pray for each other! It is a crazy time, I hope that you are all doing what you need to keep yourself healthy both physically and mentally.
For now, it’s important to keep supporting our local businesses like our restaurants and it’s also important to give yourself a break from cooking! Here are the restaurants that Joe and I have loved getting curb-side delivery from.
1. Wasabi 88
Address: 1605 E. Fire Tower Rd. Greenville, NC 27858
If I had it my way, I’d eat sushi every day. Our favorite place to get take-out sushi is definitely Wasabi 88. (There are also tons of other great options in town like Japan Inn and Tokyo Japanese Restaurant). They do BOGO rolls (Monday – Thursday) during quarantine they were doing BOGO even during the weekend.
My absolute favorite appetizers to get from them are the Insane Tuna Nachos and the Wasabi Sampler Platter.
See their specialty rolls here.
2. Bateeni Mediterranean Grill
Address: 1868 W. Arlington Blvd. Greenville, NC 27834
Oh my gosh guys, just read the reviews on this place. This gem is literally five minutes down the road from us and being so nearby, I have to stop myself from getting take-out with them every weekend. They also have amazing prices for humongous portions, I can squeeze about three meals out of their plates!
I always get their Gryo Platter and the Bateeni Sampler which comes with Falafel, Tabbouleh, Hummuz, Baba Ghanoush, and the best grape leaves that I can find in town. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. While you’re at it, go ahead and do yourself a favor and get their mint lemonade that stuff is amazing.

3. Han Korean Cuisine
Address: 1904 W. Arlington Blvd. Greenville, NC 27834
I am so excited that a Korean restaurant has opened up in town.. finally! I was having to drive an hour to Raleigh, NC to get my fix of Korean cuisine. If you want some Korean BBQ in Greenville, NC – this is the place to go!
Soft Tofu Soup is one of my comfort foods and their seafood soft tofu soup hits the spot. You can adjust the level of spice from mild, hot, to spicy.
We have also tried their Korean Fried Chicken and LA Galbi and both hit the spot. Korean Fried Chicken is made of a sweet and spicy sauce that will make your mouth water for days. Do yourself a favor and try it out.

4. Bangkok
Address: 560 Evans St. Greenville, NC 27834
There’s nothing like Thai food on a late Saturday night. When people ask me where my favorite Thai spot in town is I always refer them to this restaurant. The owner is so sweet and I can always get my fix of Drunken Noodles here.
We also love their Massaman curry and the Chicken Satay.

5. Anita’s
Address: 1915 N. Memorial Dr. Greenville, NC 27834
Alright, if you want authentic Mexican food. This is your spot. You’ll have to grab some take-out during lunch because they run on limited hours. Closed Monday and 11 AM – 3 PM every other day.
Everything on their menu is amazing. If you go to the front door, you’ll be able to place an order with them and you can either eat outside under a tent or wait for them to bring your order to the car.
Just recently, we tried Birria tacos and it was worth the mess 100%. They load the cilantro and onions on the tacos, just like I like it. While you’re at it, go ahead and try their Horchata (milk) and Elote corn.

Let me know the restaurants you’ve been loving getting take-out from and your favorite dish from them!
