Whole 30 Week Three: Favorite Recipes

January 24, 2018

Since the new year started, Joe and I have been doing the Whole 30 (read a more extensive review on our first week experience here). We are now in week three and we’ve tried plenty of AMAZING recipes! I thought I would share some of my favorites today so that you guys can try them as well.

  1. Loaded Sweet Potato Fries (this was one was SO popular when I highlighted it on my instagram stories)
If you’re looking for a hearty meal in the morning or for what feels like a treat for dinner, you definitely need to try this. Loaded with a bunch of spices and an explosion of flavors there is NO way you won’t love it.
  2. Coconut Red Curry Zoodle Soup
The zoodles, the creaminess of this, we literally made this two times because it was SO good!
  3. Chicken Zucchini Poppers
Okay, stop what you’re doing and if you have chicken and zucchini in your fridge you NEED to make this. Seriously. It is so so clean and amazingly good! I made these as an “appetizer” for an engagement party and people were raving about them even non-Whole 30ers!
  4. Whole 30 Shepherd’s Pie
I felt like I was cheating when I was eating this. Oh, and let me give a quick shout out to Vodka and Biscuits she has some of the best recipes out there, seriously. The girl knows how to cook!
  5. Whole 30 Mexican Bowl with Mexican Cauliflower Rice and Fajita Chicken topped with salsa and guacamole!
Okay, let me tell you a little fact about Joe, he hates vegetables (or at least he used to before we started Whole 30). This mexican cauliflower rice does not just have vegetables it is absolutely LOADED with vegetables and he basically said it was the best thing he’d had on Whole 30 so… I don’t know what you’re learning from this but you should be making it.

Have you done Whole 30 before? What are some of your favorite recipes?

I've done a Whole30 three times now and I love it every time! I'm bookmarking all of these to make for my next one. I love doing soup and salad for lunch so I'll make a big batch of soup and freeze it until I'm ready to eat and it makes my life so easy. I can't wait to try the Shepard's Pie!
