You guys! It is finally the MOST wonderful time of the year!!!! Our home is decorated with the tree and there are Christmas joys sprinkled all around our home. I love this time of year because it’s a wonderful reminder of God’s love for us and the ultimate sacrifice. More than ever, I want to reflect Jesus’ love to others.
On to the goals and events for this month.
EVENTS THIS MONTH:
- We have an extremely exciting life event coming up that I will likely update you guys on in the NEW year!
I’VE GOT MY EYES ON:
— The Biltmore House! I’ve always wanted to make a trip there to see the Christmas decorations, crossing my fingers we can find some time to make it there this Christmas season :)
— The Great British Baking Show has holiday-themed episodes and I am loving it!
WHAT I READ IN NOVEMBER:
— Started Girl, Wash Your Face. Came across a weird review on the book but I’m going to try to power through the book!
NOVEMBER GOALS RECAP:
- Read a book (started!)
- Keep a gratitude journal or wall or tree (I was definitely more conscientious of the things I could be grateful for in November and it was an awesome experience!)
- Start my mornings in the word and in prayer (Admittedly, I could have done a better job with this! Definitely will want to continue to try to do this with Christmas coming up.)
- Design and order Christmas cards (This is done!)
- Workout 3-5x a week (I did a pretty good job at maintaining this, thank goodness I can workout during lunch!)
- Get our 2nd Christmas Tree (This is one of my favorite traditions that we have started together. We get our tree after Thanksgiving and I love it!)
- Have a friend over for dinner (I have certain people on my prayer list that I want to invite into our home so I will have to continue working on this!)
DECEMBER GOALS
- Send out Christmas cards. (I just made my order and I’ll have a blog post coming up on it soon!)
- Decorate Christmas cookies
- Go look at Christmas lights
- Watch Elf & All the Christmas Movies!!
- Go ice skating
- Spend time in the Word (Read all chapters of Luke)
