Joe and I hadn’t had a nice date night out in a while so I was over the moon ecstatic when Bonefish Grill contacted me to go try out their new seasonal menu. Have you been to Bonefish Grill yet? It is the perfect atmosphere for a nice date night or a celebration. The night that we went on our date we had a birthday celebration next to us as well as a group celebrating a special occasion. Obviously this is the place to go for that nice celebration you have in mind!
As soon as we sat down, we were greeted by a friendly server bringing a plate of warm bread and that olive oil dip that is scrumptious and filled with herbs, yum. The bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, I just love that kind of bread, don’t you?
Then we started with an the Imperial Dip as an appetizer. Oh man, Joe and I devoured it up it’s filled with tender shrimp, bay scallops, lump crab and mozzarella and parmesan cheese. They serve it with their house made tortilla chips that have seasoning all over it and it is the most scrumptious thing.
It was hard to pick an entree, everything sounded so delicious! Joe ordered the Sirloin and Crab Cake Dinner and I had the Rheas Norwegian Salmon which is a seasonal special. I overhead a woman next to us exclaiming, “You have got to try their Salmon it is the best Salmon you will ever have” and of course I was convinced! Their Salmon is fresh and wood-grilled and the Rheas Norwegian Salmon is topped with jumbo lump crab, sauteed spinach and lime tomato garlic sauce. Then on top of all that they top it with Georges Bank Sea Scallops topped with a bacon bourbon reduction and crispy bacon bits over peak season vegetables.
I don’t know why but I’m convinced that the longer the description for a menu item is, the better it will be (is anybody else like this? Haha!) I had a chance to snag a bite of Joe’s Sirloin and Crab cake and both were so good!
Of course, I also had to order a side of their mac and cheese, I mean who am I right?!
After we finished our entrees, we were both so full we couldn’t even speak but of course we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try dessert.. We ended up choosing the Chocolate Creme Brulee which is only on the Holiday Specials. It’s a chocolate custard topped with their own housemade whipped cream. Oh my gosh, the whipped cream was so good at first I couldn’t tell if it was ice cream or whipped cream!
We left our date night extremely satisfied, very full, and excited that we finally had the chance to try out Bonefish Grill. Thank you Bonefish Grill for an amazing date night, we will definitely be visiting again!
